UQ Connell Building
FARA was appointed the head contractor under a Fixed Lump Sum contract to deliver the refurbishment works to level 3 of the UQ Connell Building.
The project involved repurposing existing spaces for flexible utilisation across multiple disciplines.
One of the key elements was to form openings in existing solid walls for the installation of glass viewing windows. The main viewing window was installed in switchable glass overlooking the Connell Building gymnasium, which allows sporting executives & sporting students to oversee training practices for educational purposes.
